You can't reach your goals
with someone else's vision,
so it stands to reason that
using other people's lives as
a barometer for success will
not assist you in getting what
is uniquely yours.
Comparisons serve no purpose
except to distract from your own
life and path, and thus draw crucial
energy and attention away from
doing what's necessary for you.
In order to respect my own
path, I am present in each moment
as the person I am intended to be.
That means seeking truth from
within, not using the world as
a yardstick of 'success.'
